I don't rate Valuev, but doesn't that show you how little I rate the resumes of the guys Tunney mentioned?

I think only Byrd has a significantly better resume.

        Valuev

        Chisora

        Mormeck

        Macrinelli

        Ruiz

Chisora was also probably Vitali's toughest/best win of recent years though he struggled with him a lot more than haye did.

Valuev-Haye was one of the most boring fights in HW history.

Valuev, who most probably would have toyed with Primo Carnera.

Valuev was the slowest HW titleholder in history, but I think he was robbed against Haye who just ran the whole fight and was afraind to engage.

The Valuev fight was an abomination!
Davey boy didn't even want to fight, it was like cat and mouse and even at that I still didn't think Haye deserved the nod he only got the decision because we all know the hype with Haye v Klitschko was there.

I'm not a Haye fan, but gotta give credit to Haye when its due, because when he fought Enzo, Mormeck and Valuev they were World champions, so their previous losses aren't relevant given when Haye fought them they were at the top of their game.

Haye ducked all the good prime cruiserweights at the time:

                      1. IBF champion Steve Cunningham (Haye was never "undisputed")

                      2. Tomasz Adamek, who started fighting at cruiserweight in June 2007 and beat O'Neil Bell around the same time as Haye fought Maccarinelli

                      3. Guillermo Jones

                      4. Krzysztof Wlodarczyk

Instead Haye chose old faded opponents, yet was stopped by one of them (age 40 Carl Thompson). All of Haye's cruiserweight opponents were older than him!
