valuev was a terrible fighter tho whom was awarded several gift decisions. an old shot holyfield,,,larry donald and ruiz 1 all should have got the win. I think an old ruiz was a better win for haye than valuev. I just dont rate valuev at all

I don't rate Valuev, but doesn't that show you how little I rate the resumes of the guys Tunney mentioned?

I think only Byrd has a significantly better resume.

Valuev was the slowest HW titleholder in history, but I think he was robbed against Haye who just ran the whole fight and was afraind to engage.

Davey boy didn't even want to fight, it was like cat and mouse and even at that I still didn't think Haye deserved the nod he only got the decision because we all know the hype with Haye v Klitschko was there.

I'm not a Haye fan, but gotta give credit to Haye when its due, because when he fought Enzo, Mormeck and Valuev they were World champions, so their previous losses aren't relevant given when Haye fought them they were at the top of their game.

Instead Haye chose old faded opponents, yet was stopped by one of them (age 40 Carl Thompson). All of Haye's cruiserweight opponents were older than him!
