Lets wait and see first shall we?

Yes he had a good win over demarco, but i cant see him doing that to the likes of the ghost or the other guys at 140.

Too early to tell if we will held as high in the ranks as Floyd

I have no issue with Broner as long as he takes on the best. Right now, he's just beat DeMarco and is calling out Burns. If Burns doesn't agree, he should fight Vasquez.

If he starts ducking and dodging then I think criticism will be merited, not before.

"now we're gonna fight this burrito eating dude, Eloy Perez"

"he's good but at the end of the day he's just a mexican.

A character, great fun to watch in the ring.

Most of the established stars are coming to the end, and a lot of the "new generation" already flopped badly.

I think Broner can be a flag bearer for the sport, and for that reason i'm on the bandwagon and supporting this Kid, I think he's good for boxing

            Opinions?
For now he is a mayweather copycat... when he goes up to welterweight, he will be tested & we will see if he is "truth".

Strictly speaking Mexican isn't a race though.

What he says there is like saying "I'm going to beat this haggis eating Scot Burns, he's good but at the end of the day he's still a bagpipe sucking jock."

If I was a Scotsman I would find that very offensive.

lol maybe (altho most Scots have a sense of humour), but it doesn't make it racist.

There's no maybe about it, if I was a Scotsman I would find it very offensive.

Scots might have a great sense of humor but Mexicans found nothing humorous in Adrien Broners comments.

The problem I have with him is related to this. It's when an unintelligent guy starts running his mouth. Boxing is no stranger to dim-witted champs. But, most are able to control themselves and not dig verbal holes. Broner is not only poor at interviews, but dangerous due to the penchant for racial/cultural insults. Boxing doesn't need that. It's just that we're so starved for anyone with a personality that we settle for this. Imagine the indignation if Pac called Marquez a "burrito eater" and dismissed him as "just a Mexican".
