I think Broner can be a flag bearer for the sport, and for that reason i'm on the bandwagon and supporting this Kid, I think he's good for boxing

What boxing needs more than personalities are dedicated fighters and not characters created to sell fights. Don't get me wrong, by the end of things Broner is going to cement himself as a future HOF more than likely, but he's a single person and not the entirety of the sport. What boxing needs are fighters that believe in themselves, that believe in boxing's rich and profound history. We need believers bro, as well as the flashy ones, the mouthy ones, the humble ones and the arrogant ones. Boxing needs all of the amazing men and women that risk life and limb to entertain and inspire. What boxing needs are respectful fans that appreciate the risks that all fighters take when they get in the ring to ply their trade.

It's the stuff that isn't so flashy that is the true foundation of the sport. I think that gets lost in the hate for fighters that aggressively promote themselves. I think some fans are so distracted by the superficial I wonder what they really want out of fighters and the sport itself. Somehow a great truth is being trampled by this shallow focus on the Broners and the Mayweathers of the world. Yeah, these guys are entertaining but let's never forget the history and legacy of many fighters that have come before them. No they didn't have the flash but they had the heart and dedication.
