this guy also fought Boystov just 3 fights ago.. Boystov was talked about as a Wladimir Opponent.. just saying..

He had over 30 fights as an amateur and competed at the highest level.

30 fights is nothing. Andre Ward had 120 amateur fights.

And despite that Ward STILL took a long time ironing out the kinks before he finally made a run at the elite in the pros.

He clearly has a lot still too learn and I/we are not asking for him to step up and face a world class fighter, just somebody a bit better and more durable than the guys he is fighting.
What can you honestly learn from knocking absolute bums out in a single round or two?

Ward was taking on guys with winning records & fought very respectable opposition. Wilder already has the same/more pro fights than Ward and not even marginally stepped up. How much longer/how many more fights does he need before he steps up even slightly?

I've never seen Wilder fight in person, but from what I've seen on videos, he looks fully capable of defeating better journeymen.

Tyson Fury is 4 years younger and has less amateur experience than Wilder yet has fought much better opposition.

If he had a promoter who was unwilling to spend money on better opponents, then it would make sense. That's been at least part of Boytsov's problem. But Wilder is a Golden Boy fighter, they have deep pockets.

Perhaps they just want to market him as a KO specialist, so they keep putting him in with people who are easy to knock out. But I think Wilder would develop into a better all-around fighter if he was fighting durable journeymen like Dominick Guinn and Kevin Johnson.

I'm all for not rushing fighters along to fast. Wilder needs to step up the competiton though as these fights aren't going to improve his game to much.
