I think Manny hands down. Better opposition.... Floyd is a legendary fighter but his resume (maybe not his fault just the timing of his career) doesn't leave him with a marquee win (Augustus? De La Hoya? Hatton?). Manny has more than a few marquee wins in the 2000-2010 time span (Barrera, Morales, Cotto). Also from where Manny began it was a better achievement as many have said and still say he is a one dimensional fighter. Unfortunately Floyd's greatness works against him. He was always expected to dominate, and when he did it went unnoticed. He is a victim of his own success.
One is the kid who was a C student pulling A++++ on projects he was supposed to fail.
The other is the A+ student who pulls A's on a regular basis.
Also before coming to 147 Manny fought many of the fighters that people wanted him to fight.
Floyd whether for financial or personal reasons did not fight the guys the fans wanted to see. Cotto, Margacheato, etc.
From a strict analysis though you could also make a case for Floyd. It is just that as a fan you are biased towards the underdog story.
