leonard over hagler or mayweathrer over martinez

If mayweather was to fight martinez at middle weight and win.
Would that be considered a greater victory than leonard over Hagler.

Leonard over Hagler is probably a bad example. Many do not consider it a great victory for the way it went down.

Thing is, Leonard had Hearns, Duran, Hagler, etc, etc. He defeated many greats and lost to a few too. Floyd has no loses, but no great wins either. So, the legacy will be rooted in the 'O', not in the fights he took. And, I say that as someone who likes him.

            Leonard did not beat Hagler.

But since he does hold the victory, outside of knocking Martinez out I don't see how Floyd beating Martinez would be a better victory.

              Leonard over Hagler.

Wouldn't matter if Mayweather knocked out Martinez in 1 round it still wouldn't be better than that.

no even though Leonard was far bigger than Floyd, Hagler even past his prime is the best middleweight ever

No, Martinez is no where near as good as Hagler.
