He knows he can make more money as the sole promoter, so he bull ****s to justify his reason for making that fight. He also doesn't have to put Rios in a big risky fight yet. Bob will try to make as much money as he can off of Rios before he throws him in there with a good Golden Boy fighter. I don't expect to see Rios matched with anyone good for a while. Golden boy has a lot of good 140 lbs fighters, lets see if they match any of them together any time soon.
