Originally posted by El Angel View PostAre you asking the best wins or resume? Those are two different things and require two seperate answers, depending on the choices. Losses count against you when grading resume IMO, while as wins are strictly that.
Your resume is your wins. The only way a loss can impact your resume is a case like Lewis losing to McCall or Wlad losing to Brewster/Sanders. When you lose in your prime to someone clearly levels below you. Douglas beating Tyson.
Not Castillo losing when he was way past his best and when you can't even give credit to the guy who did beat him.

Also when I have ever said Cotto deserves credit for losses? Same as Castillo should get none for his.

Cotto seems to get credit for having wars that he lost, not saying you, just in general.
Cotto's wins are not better than Castillo and Corrales, not by any means.

Cotto's win over Mosley is just as good as Casamayor and Johnston, Clottey just as good as Lazcano and Diaz. Quintana gets no mention for Cotto, undefeated and off giving Joel Julio a boxing lesson? Malinaggi is also an underrated win, he did some good things in the sport and Cotto hung his first L on him too.

Castillo's best are Corrales, Johnston, Lazcano, Casamayor, etc.
Cotto arguably lost to Clottey and Mosley as well. The only thing Cotto has that tops anything on Castillo is Mosley, and he arguably lost. Castillo's list of wins are deeper.
Let's not act like Quintana is some world beater, it's a nice decent win for Cotto.
Again, I'm not saying you obviously, but it's funny seeing people go to certain lengths to justify one guys resume with certain wins, but if you bring up similar level wins on say Floyd's resume.....people use those fights to downplay his resume. It's just funny.
