**** the offical rankings by magazines and so called "boxing sites" in the eyes of many fans Donaire would be p4p 1 if he fought either Mares or Rigo, won, then fought another top ranked SBW, or a young hungry challenger (Quigg or Frampton come to mind).

If Ward doesn't have a meaningful fight in 2013 and Floyd only fights Guerrero, the door is open for Donaire. Unless Martinez unifies a belt at 160.

              122 pounder going to #1 P4P?

Get outta here with that garbage. Nobody under 130 is ever going to be P4P #1. Unless by some miracle Ward, Floyd, Marquez and Sergio all lose/retire there is no way Donaire goes to #1 P4P. The desperation seeps through TS post.

At least make it fair and suggest that Ward would have to stay injured/didn't fight the entire year, Floyd lost and JMM and Martinez retired or lost.

I don't even require that, personally. Donaire beating Rigondeaux and Mares in a year where Mayweather will probably fight Guerrero and Alvarez would move Donaire above Mayweather, no matter what.

so mayweather will stay number 1 as long as he doesn't lose? he can just fight b level fighters over and over and not drop? i can see why he doesn't take any risks. he doesn't have to.
