to be fair, both guys dished out almost entirely one-sided beatdowns.
it's also worth mentioning that DeMarco never got as brave with Valero as he did with Broner. his decision to go toe to toe with Broner in the 4th, after having just had his best round in the fight from long range, was inexplicable to me. from then on, Broner never had to find DeMarco, whereas Valero pretty much had to hunt him down all night.
but regardless of whose win was slightly better, dominating DeMarco still wasn't enough to justify a vault into the thick of the pound for pound rankings for either.Comment
