This was his one fault. Fighting only twice from 2010-2011. 2012 was understandable since the whole jail ****. Even if he wasn't going to fight the standard biannually, he still could have fought 3 times from 2010-2011 instead of only once per year.

I hope he goes back to biannually from here on out.

Floyd being 36 in February is the exact reason he should fight twice a year. Get in as many fights as possible before he doesn't have it anymore. If he continues fighting once a year, he'll lose his abilities completely as some point in the near future.
