I spoke about Rosado in my last radio show as one of the “fighters to watch” in 2013. (Recording of show can be seen on YouTube). I also said that he should have avenged his previous 3 losses before taking on Gennady Golovkin. Those losses happened during a down-turn period in his personal life. Those last three losses were to fighters that are still active and still have excellent records. I think he would have a good chance of winning this time, including a win over Angulo.

Rosado has replied to several of my tweets on Twitter, but he didn’t say anything when I mentioned this idea. So I guess he’s not interested. I wish him luck against GGG.

Why use that line of argument when the same can be said for Canelo? Both guys are in the same boat as far as lackluster opposition. However, one guy has the hype machine behind him and has a track record of fighting guys that aren't LMWs, while the other has had to show his mental fortitude by bouncing back after having numerous losses. He's also been fighting actual LMWs (Powell, Whitaker) with Soto-Karass being the odd-man out. Even then, he stopped a Soto-Karass who had never been stopped before. And it's not like Soto-Karass is a small fighter, it's just that Rosado is a big LMW. Rosado still has his deficiencies, but he has been improving and that's all that I can ask for. I would like to see Canelo/Rosado.

Ennis just lost on FNF against Gonzalez, and Angulo is still rebuilding. I think Rosado should not look to the past and keep it moving. If he loses to GGG, he should fight the winner of Molina/Spinks afterwards. Molina and Rosado are the most underrated at 154, so why not fight each other?

That dude said Canelo can't be matched up (or win) in any fantasy fight cause he hasn't fought any top 10 JMW. Why would he say that when the same could be said about Rosado?

Nah, I've read enough of Sekondz posts to know that he's not a fanboy. He just has his favorites like we all do, and will go the extra mile to defend them if he feels they are being unfairly criticized.

Rosado is tailor made for Golovkin but I give him props for stepping up.

Rosado does have a chance because people seem to forget that GGG did struggle a bit with Kassim Ouma. yeah he KOed Ouma late but he was getting tagged by Ouma and looked tired towards the end of that fight.

Golovkin is totally untested on the pro level, who has he beaten?

Proksa was an overhyped domestic fighter at best, he even lost on the domestic level. GGG is good enough to blast journeymen but even if he beats Rosado it doesn't prove much. Rosado has heart but he's a journeyman at best.
