donaire asked nishioka to do extra testing and nishioka's team turned it down..but fight still happened..so yes donaire has asked before, but hasn't forced anyone to do extra testing.

and yes floyd's ost is not ost at all..ost is 24/7/365 which is what donaire is doing.

i agree with that..but if team nonito offers the fight to rigo on march with bobby's approval , i cant see why it would still be TR or nonito's fault if rigo chooses to fight on february..



i belive you but it's just that balming promoters all the time is a habit round here..it's always the promoter's fault..i agree for most the part , but with rigo right now, as it looks got 2 options, fight on feb or march..so if he chooses the feb date,it means he aint ready for donaire yet..

If Rigo calls Bob and says "Lets do Donaire in March, and Bob is ok with it, but Donaire turns it down, do you honestly think that Top Rank is going to issue a press release disrespecting their own fighter? No, they won't. What would happen is that Rigo would claim he got ducked, Donaire would claim Rigo priced himself out, and Top Rank wouldn't say anything at all.

Full disclosure, I met Nonito several years back when I did some site coordination for Gary Shaw for a card in Tahoe, and Nonito, his brother, and his pops all were really nice people to deal with. That being said, I personally dont believe he is ducking anyone. Remember, this is a kid who back in 07 KNEW he was being fed to Darchinyan, didnt give a damn, took the fight, and put vic's lights out. Those are not the actions of a coward.........
