What's scarier is that he rehydrated 18lbs in his last fight, so it seems like he'll have no choice but to move up soon. I picked Gamboa against Rios, but Broner is clearly a more versatile fighter with better physical attributes than Bam-Bam. When you add Gamboa's habit of getting reckless, it could get real ugly for him. It's a risk that he shouldn't take, at least not yet.
If he's dead-set on it, then he should beat Uchiyama first, move up to 135 and beat Burns.Comment

I dont think Gamboa could even get past Uchiyama. What's scarier is that he rehydrated 18lbs in his last fight, so it seems like he'll have no choice but to move up soon. I personally think Gamboa is going to be the bigger star in boxing then Broner is. Gamboa gets hit, gets up, and still wins. He has excitement written all over his career. I see Broner as being good, but he's not as good as he thinks he is.
I would say give Gamboa a bit of time, let him grow into his weight or a bit heavier, and he'll beat Broner.Comment

Al Haymon not working with 50 Cent to make that fight Happen!
I also think that is why Mayweather is now all of a sudden becoming closer with Broner recently ironically after 50 Cent sent a Tweet to Broner about fighting Gamboa and having a "BAG FULL OF MONEY WAITING FOR HIM" then all of a sudden a week later him and Mayweather are hanging out lol
I am a little concerned that 50 Cent could get Blackballed in Boxing which could hurt his Fighters like Dirrell and Gamboa which would ruin those guys careers
Looking back maybe he should have stayed at 126 and stayed with Top Rank, because we would probably be talking about Gamboa vs Donaire this yearComment

There are numerous fights available for Dirrell/Gamboa that don't involve GBP/Haymon, and it's not like Gamboa is in the best position to fight Broner anyway.Al Haymon not working with 50 Cent to make that fight Happen!

Broner murders Gamboa, it's a horrible match up for Yuri but I'd still love to see it to see if I'm proven wrong. Gamboa hints at being very chiny and that could spell disaster against Broner. If he had a stronger chin, this could be a very interesting match up.Comment

This has to be an ALT messing around, because this is one of the ******est opinions I've ever heard. Gamboa has had years to get to where he needs to be in boxing, he's not getting much better than what you see now. Broner is 23 and already people have him ranked higher than Gamboa. Broner is even more talked about than Gamboa. Who the hell is Gamboa? lol I thought when Gamboa first bust on the boxing scene, he was going to be the next Roy Jones Jr in boxing, but his career never took off.I personally think Gamboa is going to be the bigger star in boxing then Broner is. Agreed. The size differential would just be too wide a gap at this stage. What's scarier is that he rehydrated 18lbs in his last fight, so it seems like he'll have no choice but to move up soon.
