    I hope he doesn't go down the road of Vargas... but with the way he's being hyped and the aura surrounding him and his camp I think he will. I don't mean the roids, but rather taking on a very accomplished fighter for a belt too early.

      y'all know that when this guy was 9 he was in a bicycle accident and sum stick was stuck in his head and he had to walk for 30 mins becasue he couldnt take it out himself, then they had to make the trip to the hospital.. tough guy man

        is he ready for rafa marquez? i'd love to see that in a couple of years or maybe next year if rafa survived gerry peńalosa LOL (im a nuthugger i must admit!).

          boom boom should get 6-8 more fights with mid to high level fighters before ****ing with the big boys.. good future ahead for boom boom though

            IMHO he could challenge any accomplished figther and learn from those fights, last fight he learned that he is not invincible...

            the big burden on Rey's shoulder is the burden of being groomed as the next Pacquiao ...

                He can challenge decent fighters who have some accomplishements... but don't move him too quickly. He got knocked down last fight and I don't want to see him move up too quickly and get hurt (a la Cordrington) or take on an accomplished champion (a la Vargas).

                Just remember boys and girls... 19.
