But my real answer is more complex then a yes or no.

From a boxing fan point of view, If he doesnt want to fight Haye then yes retire, but if he gonna fight haye then No.

From just a get it while the getting is good point of view, No just keep beating bums and stacking them millions.

He should, An old Lennox Lewis gave him a shot at 37 he should either fight Haye or retire.

Bit of a difference between being 37 and still prime though not at your very peak and being 41 (42 by fight night) and having clearly looked on the fade for a good few years, maybe even as far back as the Sosnowski fight. He has put in some great performances since but I think warning signs have been there for some time.

The sad part is Haye has pulled out of fights and ducked Vitali like the plague, lets not forget he did the same with Wlad for over 3 years! Its sad hes drawing it out as long as possible and IMO its quite fcuking cowardly.

Voted yes as hes had a good career he can be proud of, hes old and clearly past his best, his body is starting to fail him and I don't see why he should risk his health fighting some big-mouthed cherry picker who doesn't deserve anything and has avoided him for years, purposely waiting for him to be well past it. Haye is a joke, fight Pulev, Price, Fury, Glazkov somebody that isn't 40+ or a fat bum like Chisora.

VitALI TOOK four years off. in terms of boxing milage he's at the EXACT PLACE Lennox was at when they fought.

Fighters progress and age differently. Vitali and Wlad are great at fighting pass their 'prime' years so to speak.


But their progression is much slower - their starts.

Wladimir Klitschko's 15th Opponent: 7-31 Ladislav Husarik
