So you are criticizing floyd for ODH choosing him to fight and floyd taking it and winning even though he was over 12 lbs lighter and for fighting Cotto and beating him while he was smaller as well. Geez dude, that makes him less great than his fans say he is?What am I trying to make it out to be?? Are you putting words in my posts?? You basically admitted Floyd will fight ginger for a big, easy payday. You basically admitted he fought Oscar & Cotto for the same. That's fine. But don't get mad when guys like myself say that's why he isn't as great as guys like you make him out to be, that's all.
There is no WW right now that floyd could fight where he isn't "on paper" at least a 4 or 5 to 1 favorite. SO floyd has to go out of the division to find an opponent that would make a closer fight "on paper". Floyd also isn't going to fight on regular TV so he has to find an opponent that can maximize his profit on a ppv. Or is he not allowed to do that?
So if floyd fights above 147 again he is already at somewhat of a disadvantage given the size difference. So he now has to sacrifice both size and not maximize his profit to fight Sergio, rather than make the same size for money deal that historically every fighter in floyd's position (except HWT's) makes?
I agree that floyd/sergio is the better fight than floyd/canelo. But when floyd is already giving up weight you can't also expect him to give up profit as well. If you were him, you wouldn't do it.Comment

bushy you are jealous of mayweather. simple and plain. youjust a jealous haterWhat am I trying to make it out to be?? Are you putting words in my posts?? Floyd is small at 154 and definitely had some of his worst performances at that weight because of it (Oscar and Cotto)
Martinez is ****ing HUGE. Horrible match up for Floyd. Floyd's too small for MartinezComment

1st off Dunn, I did not criticize Floyd for Oscar or Cotto. In fact you are the 1 that said Floyd fought them for the money. So you are criticizing floyd for ODH choosing him to fight and floyd taking it and winning even though he was over 12 lbs lighter and for fighting Cotto and beating him while he was smaller as well. 2nd, I'm all for the Floyd/Ghost fight. Just like I was for the Floyd Ortiz fight. I believe the Ghost will be very competitive.
3rd, If Floyd fights ginger above 147 to maximize profit, so be it. However it's a cherrypick, laughable & he would deserve no praises for it because ginger isn't worth a damn. What I'm saying to you right now is simple. If Floyd wants to fight for money, (that's ok). But if that's the case, & you & I know it, (which I do & you admitted), then how can you sit there and act like it's a great accomplishment when it's just a money grab against a chump, like you all but outright said??
And Last, there really isn't anything left to debate if we both agree that Floyd/Martinez is the better fight. You as a Floyd fan are content on giving Floyd praise for fighting ginger, I as a boxing fan am not, simple. Fight ginger, take the easy payday, I'll call it what it is, a money grab. You, you can sing praises & bow down acting like he did something monumental.Comment

Sort of like MAnny not wanting to give up 100% of PPV? :ANYWORD:So you are criticizing floyd for ODH choosing him to fight and floyd taking it and winning even though he was over 12 lbs lighter and for fighting Cotto and beating him while he was smaller as well. I just gonna go and say it,you discredit everything floyd does, you pick him to lose then when he wins and makes it look easy you discredit him,and dont deny it cause i can bump several of your threads..you said mosley would win and he would struggle with Ortiz, then he blows both out of the water and you have yet to give him any credit what so ever..now you are accusing him of ducking a damn middleweightWhat am I trying to make it out to be?? I did give Floyd his credit for Ortiz & Shane. Don't lie. I've always admitted when I was wrong & I wasn't talking to you anyway. Why don't you go cry about not being nominated for poster of the year & leave me be?? As a matter of fact, you did bump threads made before the fights & acted like they were sentiments about after the fight. They were not. Furthermore I am entirely in favor of Floyd/Ghost. If you paid attention instead of just flapping, you'd know that.I just gonna go and say it,you discredit everything floyd does, you pick him to lose then when he wins and makes it look easy you discredit him,and dont deny it cause i can bump several of your threads..you said mosley would win and he would struggle with Ortiz, then he blows both out of the water and you have yet to give him any credit what so ever..now you are accusing him of ducking a damn middleweight

I would give floyd, if he fights and defeats Canelo, the praise any fighter deserves for fighting above his weight class and beating a bigger, stronger, but inferior, opponent.1st off Dunn, I did not criticize Floyd for Oscar or Cotto. But lets be clear, its not a "money grab from a chump". Its sacrificng weight against an inferior opponent in exchange for profit. Been done by every top draw and big draw in boxing history as they moved up.
Your overexaggeration and felonious misrepresentation of the praise some posters say they will give floyd is really over the top though.Comment
