Hes not a joke. Hes Mayweathers biggest threat. LMAO. Real talk Canelo can fight a little bit but hes untested. We dont know if he can handle real adversity. I would'nt say he was a joke, but for a guy with 6 title fights his resume is a joke. The problem is GBP, they don't have faith that he can beat a credible challenger. They'll let Abner Mares fight anyone, but they won't match Canelo tough unless its for huge money. The brain trust at GBP have been around great fighter for years, and they can see that Mares is the goods and Canelo is not. The real criminals here are the pro Mexican, vile scumbags at the WBC. They actually let Canelo slap the crap out of a second tier british 147lber (M Hatton) for their version of the 154lb belt. 5 title fights later and still not one credible challenger yet. The crooks at the WBC let Canelo fight the #4 rated challenger (Ryan Rhodes, a joke all by itself) and counted it as his mandatory. While all this underhanded crap goes on deserving 154lb contenders are being denied title opportunties they've earned. This is exactly the kinda $h!t that took away boxings popularity and as long as it continues, boxing will never again be a mainstream sport. Boxing deserves better
