I hope he retires. Or, if he takes a 5th fight, it would be good to see him go for another title in his 4th division.

He should already be a four division champ, if Arum and Bradley didn't rob Pac of his 147 title, but that's Arum for you.

Just on that point, why do people keep calling Marquez a four division champ? He's not a four division world champ. An Interim Title is nothing. It just means you are in line for a title shot. It is not a world title.

He's only the WBO Interim champ at 140. He is not a world champion. I can understand if you called him a 4 division world champ cause he just beat Manny, and we all know that Manny was still the 147 champ in reality, but officially Marquez is not a 4 division world champ.

Anyway, I'd rather see him go for his 4th legit title rather than take another Pac fight if he's going to do one more. There is simply no need for a rematch. They've had 4 fights, and Marquez is the only one to have won clearly and this was the fight meant to prove it. He proved it. What's the point in another go? To give Manny a chance at redemption? He's already got two 'wins' over Marquez. If he got another one, what does it prove? Will they just have to fight again? What if it's close? It's just ******. No point at all.

I'd like to see him beat Malignaggi, or someone at 140 for a last title then go out on top as the legend he is.

A), Pac said he was afraid of needles. Thats a duck. BOTH Pac and Floyd were Prima Donna's in negotiations. B) JMM knocked Pac COLD and any of those 3 fights could have gone either way. C) JMM never ducked Morales, he chose more monetary viable options. Pac and Floyd are more feared than Morales and he fought both.

The only ppl I ever see debate those fights as pacquaio wins outright are people who'll soon enough be in another thread dissing him. The third fight is the only truly debatable one..the other two i'm sorry to break this to you but they in no way shape or form are debatable...much like the 4th one was before the K.O. the fact is statistically going by any system on planet earth for boxing the numbers don't lie..on a point system fight 1,2 aren't even close. The third falls within margin's of error and truly is the only one that could've gone either way.

But I hold JMM in higher regard than Pac and Floyd for the simple reason that he fought BOTH Pac and Floyd when niether Pac nor Floyd would fight each other and BOTH those guys made excuses for not fighting each other. JMM can retire some day knowing he fought both guys when all they had were excuses for not fighting each other. That makes JMM pretty damn special because NO ONE can say he ever ducked a fighter. He fought BOTH.

Marquez should give Pacquaio one more rematch. Pac gave him 3 rematches. Now is his time to give Pacquiao besides the amount of money he will earn in this fight.

Apparently you didn't see the fight. JMM had a busted nose and a swollen face and was taking huge punishment. Any fighter could decide they don't want any more damage. Shook might not be the word but it is easy to see how JMM does not want any more of that. Pac is not good for anyone's health, his own included.

So what? Heaps of fighters have taken much more punishment and won.

Marquez has done it his whole career.

Look at the Diaz fight, or look at the first Pac fight. Manny knocked Marquez down 3 times and broke his nose and yet still couldnt beat him.

Pacquiao looked worse after beating Clottey.

That is truly a ******ed viewpoint considering that Marquez is renowned for his recuperation, endurance, and his ability to adapt.

A fight ebbs and flows..... Pac had 1.5 good rounds between getting knocked down and getting KTFO. Lets keep it real here.

There arent too many people who are scared of Pacquiao right now dude, and Marquez certainly aint one of them.

Pac said he wanted a rematch straight up after the fight to Merchant.

Its pretty obvious Mrs. JMM wears the pants in that relationship
