How will the Mayweather camp and fans hype up the Ghost?

Can't wait to hear it. Just like they did with Ortiz. Young lion who is a big southpaw. "All Mayweather does is go after young champions in their prime"

No need to hype any one up. Guerrero hyped himself up single handily by beating Aydin and Berto, two WW's, while being a former LW himself. It was enough to get him a ranking of #3 by The Ring, #4 by ESPN, #2 by Boxrec.

And you are wrong about Floyd fans hyping up Ortiz, fans actually liked this fight. There were a few idiots from the same old bitter fanbases who opposed the fight.

He's the only person who can crack the Shoulder Roll defence.

That will be the main promotion behind it.

The flip side of that mentality is that no matter who floyd fights there is going to be criticism. If i asked you, who would satisfy you as Floyd's opponent for May 4th, somebody else would come in here and rip that opponent. The fact of the matter is floyd's opponent will be someone with a name on HBO, someone who is Hispanic, and someone who is willing to take the smallest percentage of the purse while still making the most money in his life. As fans sometimes this is disappointing but thats how it is. You can either choose to intelligently express your dissatisfaction, you can choose to not buy or watch the ppv, or you can choose to just enjoy the fight for what it is. This is the politics of the sport and no matter how sarcastic and condescending these threads get, nothing will ever change that.

They'll hype him as the guy who gave berto a beating that no one has ever done.

You are one of the ones that says Baldomr enhances his legacy because he was the lineal champ at the time.

And it is awesome that Berto is now the stepping stone to get a fight with Mayweather. And man was the Ghost's win against Aydin impressive!

I actually agree with this statement. But I would be satisfied if he was fighting Trout but that wouldn't make sense economically. I am just saying that nobody said Robert was anything great a few months ago so it will be fun to see how Floyd spins it.

Guerrero is the best WW opponent for Floyd right now.

The true best opponent at WW right now, is JMM, who Floyd already beat and let's face it, you would criticize that fight too. So shut up, wait for May 4th, stream or buy the PPV and then come back here to make another thread, among the countless other threads whining and b-tching about Floyd after May 4th.
