Anyone think Malik Scott could make some noise at Heavyweight???

He was a young and promising prospect, but he ran into some injury and managerial problems, as well as weight issues that hindered his career for a couple years. In 2012 he came back, down in the 220's and in shape, and got back into action.

His last fight was in September, against Bowie Tupou, the same guy Jennings just beat. He looks pretty quick for a heavyweight, a nice jab, and all around pretty solid skillful fighter. He lacks power, which could hurt him. But what do you guys think???

No, you can't make noise in the hw division if you rarely fight. Coupled with that, he's not very entertaining.

I've been trying to contact him for years to see if I could help get his career jump started. He was in the top ten back in 2005. Great skill, but not a great punch. I hope he doesn't waste his career. Should have been HW champ a long time ago.

He has an excellent defense, he may have potential...

But he definitely needs a better promoter/manager who will get him into some meaningful fights.
