    Revenues does not equal popularity.

TV Ratings distributed though out the world does.
You judge how popular a sport is on a world wide stage by the Ratings the sport gather from various parts of the world.

Soccer(football) is the most watched sport in the world. Champions League, World Cup etc.

Basketball is without a doubt the world's #2 sport.

NFL shouldn't even be included.. it don't matter what revenue or rating NFL have. It's only one country.

It's Soccer-Basketball-Baseball-Boxing.. the big four from a global stand point.

From an AMERICAN stand point it's - NFL-NBA-MLB.

Football is so boring to watch. Only 11 minutes of actual action per game.

Doubt it ... even if F1 is ahead of the NBA its not more popular than the sport of basketball itself

Basketball is arguably #2 only trailing soccer on a global scene.
Only like 5 teams in the NBA are profitable, the rest lose money like crazy.

Cricket is some where in there too, ahead of baseball or any of its leagues

There are maybe two dozen >$1 million USD purses in boxing a year and as a whole boxing sn't making anywhere near 1 billion in profit.

No, boxing is not more popular than the NFL on a global level.
I think F1 being in there shows the pitfalls of ranking sports by revenue.

Incidentally, EPL is only one soccer league. La Liga and Serie A are the other big hitters.

Wow, the NFL is bringing in almost double of what the English Premier League does?

Watching americans talk about football and watching europeans talk about football (US) is entertaining.

In American...NOTHING IS BIGGER THEN NFL FOOTBALL! No Sporting Event Is Bigger Then The Super Bowl...NONE!

And no other event in which Companies are throwing out millions and millions of dollars for a Commercial Spot during the Super Bowl

So no boxing don't come close...to be honest I am not even sure if Boxing is Top 5 in America Right Now
