Juan Diaz ESPN PPV In April

RabbitPunchBoxing.com learned today that WBA Lightweight champ Juan Diaz is setup for an April Pay-Per-View that will be broadcast on ESPN.

He told us that he would like to face IBF champ Julio Diaz however after speaking with Julio, he told us that he would have to turn that fight down since he is already sceheduled to face Acelino Freitas on May 7th.

If Juan can't get Julio then his opponent will likely be Juan Lazcano. Juan's must first get by Billy Irwin on January 21st.

That "PPV" should have 3 undercards and be to the tune of 19.95. Diaz vs. Lazcano wouldn't headline either of the two major networks by itself.

      **** ESPN.

Yeah thats exactly what boxing needs more of PPV's. Juan Diaz is not a PPV headling fighter.

If it were 19.95-29.95 I might think about it ,but Margarito vs Cintron would have to be on the undercard.

Who would buy this? With all the big fights coming to spend money on. I am not going to waste twenty/thirty dollars on this when Felix Trinidad is fighting in April. Save your money

Jan Diaz would have to have 5 more wins all by devistating knockout before Daiz- Lascano is a PPV main event.

                    What a bunch of crap.
