Will Floyd ever fight Canelo?

Will the fight ever happen? Floyd's getting old and he doesn't have the hunger to challenge himself anymore. Floyd is content with fighting the guerrero's and Hattons.

We can rule out 2013 because Floyd only fights once a year and we all know Guerrero is next.

No. Never. If he wanted the fight, it would have been announced just right after Canelo's last fight. It's probably the reason why he was forced to take another long vacation. We all know that Canelo is the biggest draw outside of Pac for the guy who calls himself Money.

Remember, just last May he said he will be fighting five more times. Five times to 0 is extreme and odd. Instead, he waited for the Berto/Guerrero winner.

Although Mayweather usually fights once per calender year, his team have stated he will be fighting twice. Which, they haven't done in a long time.

I'm not saying it's a certainty he will fight twice. But, there's more chance of it happening next year than in a long long time.

Golden Boy have been given two dates for Mayweather and they have been reserved for him.

I honestly doubt that he ever fights Canelo. He's too big and too young. Mayweather's too old and small. I would like to see the fight though.

I think him fighting twice next year is a possibility.

He's been vocal about fighting twice a year since around this time last year and I think if he hadn't have gone inside, he may well have fought twice last year.

He's booked two dates also.

Yea it's a possibility but I wouldn't bet on it. I certainly wouldn't bet on him fighting at WW then going back up to 54 to fight Canleo 6 months later.
