This has happened 2 times already so i would not take it seriously intill the contracts are signed and it comes to fight night, the IBF have ordered Povetkin vs Wladimir twice. K2 promotions won both purse bids and the first time Povetkin said he was injured the second time Teddy Atlas said Povetkin was not ready so Sam Peter got pushed up to mandatory and got a rematch.

The question here is are the Klitschko's willing to pay Povetkin a purse that is equal to the value of his entire career.

Reason being is if he gets in the ring with Wlad his career is over after that night. Just like the other lazy Russian challenger Ibragimov who quit the sport and went back to vodka swilling after putting up his half assed effort.
