I thought Top Rank was trying to stage Chavez Jr vs Martinez 2 On September 14th. Which is the same date Mayweather wants to fight. The two biggest money dates for boxing is Cinco De Mayo weekend and September 16th Independence day weekend for Mexico. Mayweather knows this. Best believe it would be foolish for Arum to stage a fight on those dates.

That last mistake was that, but in the rest of the fight we also saw much of the best of what he's become. That made JMM's victory all the more impressive to me. That was the best in-ring Pac we've seen since Margarito.
