I'm going to need to watch this fight.

Having not yet watched it, there is a question which pops into my head, is there any potential that commentators tend to be somewhat biased in favor of the American style of boxing and against the Eastern European style? I've watched many of Adamek's fights, and the guy is not flashy, but he gets the job done. Sometimes it isn't the volume of punches, but the effect of the punches, and Adamek's punches tend to have an effect on his opponents.

I'm just asking a question. I'll watch the fight when I can get my hands on it.

Cunningham never looked like he was in serious danger despite the fact Adamek had a heavy weight advantage.

Cunningham also showed better pop then I thought he would. Adamek definitely felt some of those punches (not that he was in serious danger either).

I actually thought the announcers were giving WAY too much credit to Adamek. Cunningham appeared to win 4 or 5 of the first six rounds and they were calling it even. My theory is that Adamek was getting points for toughness for continuing to walk in straight lines and get hit while rallying mildly late in some rounds.

Not imo..... They actually had it a lot closer then some of the other scores I have seen which were mostly 9-3/8-4 with a few 7-5's sprinkled in for Cunningham.... I scored it 9-3 Cunningham

Like I said I haven't watched yet, I'm just asking a question. It is a pretty general question about boxing, just trying to garner some opinions.
