Ugh. I hate The Ring so much right now. I don't think I'll ever take it seriously anymore when the Larryx's of the world say "So and so was ranked whatever," it will be as unimportant as what fake paper title they held at the time.

I think it's probably due to Guerrero's upcoming fight with Floyd. Make sure he gets tagged into the p4p list and the fight looks much more competitive and legit, "Hey, Guerrero is a top ten pound for pound fighter!".

It's a bit of a joke isn't it?

Mares should be way ahead of Guerrero.

The guy has just fought/beaten: Darchinyan, Perez, Agbeko, Moreno, and Morel. Guerrero has come off fights against Casamayor, Katsidis (both of whom had been beaten up and KTFO by Marquez previously), Aydin and Berto.

The only explanation is that GBP need to make the fight with Guerrero look good, thus they throw him on the p4p list and people can talk about it as if it's legit.

I've never actually had a conversation with Oscar de la Hoya.

Pound for pound is the sole opinion of Chuck Giampa, who I think is utterly daft. Of that panel, only myself, Erdman and Coppinger are actually employees of The Ring.
