    Woman Boxing

    Hey,

I have been a member here for asking a question. My name is Lamara, I'm a girl 16 years old. I'm looking to start a fight sport, searching for 1 years and decided to do boxing or kick boxing. I rewieved many martial sports, didnt like any of them, there are very complex movement in these sports (aikido, jiu jitsu, karate, jeet kune do, judo, ninjutsu... etc) this is unnecessary. You cannot figth in this way with someone who is have hard punches. I am no stranger to sports, currently doing fitness, cycling, swimming. My height 180 cm so 70-71 inch and weight 67 kg so 148 pound . I just want to learn the technique of this work as an amateur .

what do you suggest ? what is your opinion ? Thanks .

if you want to get into boxing then get into a gym and try it out, you might love it you might not. You will never find out just talking about it.

Are their fight gyms available where you live? The first step is looking one up and going to visit.

Before you pay big bucks to join, come back here and ask posters here to let you know if what you're getting for your money is worth it.

        sorry for MY English.

Are you looking for practical combat training or for a sport? Your statement is unclear. Best I can say is forget the speculation and try a couple of lessons. That's the quickest way to find out how you like it.

This isnt the forum for this and for fitness you need to get into MMA.

Womans Boxing is a big joke and if you want to be a pro fighter you should be in MMA as there is some competition there, Womans Boxing is dead.

Also, this isnt the help me get fit forum.

Try bodybuilding.com or some other forum that focus on training and helping you stay fit/active

I want to learn as a sport, not a professional . I'm livin on Russia, but now at Turkiye for the next few mounths. Visited 2 salon been in the city. I dont like the salon I went to first it was so mmmm negleced ??? ruin ! and second salon was nice but I said them I will give a decision wthin a few days. As I said at first I wantto do it as a hobby, not professional. Idont think it is a strange request, everyone able to protect self. why do you think this sport isnt suitable for women ?

You just need to go to a gym and learn your trade. You are young and already athletic so you have a great start. What country are you in?

I decided, will start tomarrow inshallah. A friend said tell us how much is the price of lessons, it is not expensive, 3 days in a week and monthly 80 TL, so 45 usa dollar for 12-13 lesson. Other than that they told me to buy boxing gloves, I dont know how much price is boxing gloves. The coach is someone who have regional degrees.
