But but you gotta admit Floyd ducked Pac for more than $100 million. Who would be crazy enough to turn that down as uncle Roger complained.
Realistically, Manny Pacquiao won't be missed..

For the two years Floyd was retired he was still the number one talked about fighter in the sport,
Manny however, what's next? Nobody really cares.
Is there anyone you actually want to see Manny fight again? What's out there for him? Simple answer, nothing.
He was beaten by Bradley, what would a rematch prove? Even if Manny was robbed.
A rematch with Marquez? We've seen it four times already, no thanks?
Or a fight with the great one? We all know Floyd would destroy him, real boxing fans have known this for years, only deluded pacquiao fans thought different and even they are accepting it now.
All in all, Manny please retire you've had your time. Boxing doesn't need you.
Was Marquez 4 not probably the best fight we've seen of the 2? I think it was, had just as much action as number 1 and 2
Mayweather could have faced Manny 2-3 years ago but he didnt want to, just like he didnt want Cotto, Mosley or Margarito when they were ruling the WW division
Boxing doesnt 'Need' Manny Pacquiao, Neither does it 'Need' Floyd Mayweather
So tbh I dont get you nuthugging postComment

The only reason I won't miss him is because of the competition he faces. If he would fight guys who are at the level of Timothy Bradley I would root for him.
What is there to see in Pacquiao vs 2010 Margarito, 2011 Mosley, catchweight Cotto, an old Marquez who is clearly past it and shouldn't be knocking anyone at WW out cold, especially not the "Fighter of the Decade", especially when he came in at 143 and Pac at 147. You're getting knocked out cold by old men you cherrypicked, what is there to see?
Hey, but At least Pacquiao challenged himself by fighting Marquez?Comment

Pacquiao's standard may of slipped over the last couple of years, but he will be missed when he retires. Some of the most exciting fights moments in recent years come from Pacquiao.
On the other hand Mayweather fighting once a year against the likes of Ortiz and Guerrero..i wouldn't miss that.Comment

Yea he will be missed, sure the sport will go on and eventually replace him but he was clearly the second most talked about guy and was incredibly popular so him falling off does bring down the profile of the sport no way around that in the short run (although IF JMM fights on his increased star power will offset that but JMM is not long for the sport so that will be fleeting).
In the medium or long term though boxing will keep on keeping on and new superstars will emerge, but that takes time.Comment

Pacquiao and Floyd will both be missed. Both drew large crowds, brought excitement and entertainment to this sport. Don't know why some fans feel the need to pick a side when one of these 2 fighters are mentioned.Comment
