and anyway, just prime Pac will be missed
Pac of the last 2 yrs, we can do without; past it, not hungry anymore
Pac's done, he should retire before he gets brain damage
I honestly think that has much to with who he's been matched against.

Pacquiao-Mosley - Mosley ran to survive, boring
Pacquiao-Marquez III - average fight, robbery
Pacquiao-Bradley - after 4-5 rounds Bradley ran, boring
    Pacquiao-Marquez IV - exciting fight

Put him in against Matthysse, Rios, Maidana, Ortiz, Garcia, Zaveck, Berto and we'll see exciting performances.

you include rios in the list of exciting fights. you musta slipped up or something, no biggie, but i agree those fights would make for excitement, but pac obliterating rios out of boxing permanently is not what i would call exciting. pac-matthysse i could go for!

Fans would love it. Pac fans need something to build their confidence back. Rios has young/dangerous written all over him to the public, but execution written in the ring.
IMO, kind of getting depressed at all the Sad pino faces after Pacquiao fights

There is no question that a lot of the interest around Pacquiao was generated by the hoped for Mayweather fight but a lot of Mayweather's interest was generated by Pacquiao also. The fight should have happened 3 or more years ago when many could not pick a winner. But both camps seemed more interested in using the hype to generate bigger purses in lesser fights than getting on with the real event.
Mayweather Pacquiao no longer has the same attraction after Marquez and Bradley have shown how much Pacquiao has slipped. I am not sure where Pacquiao goes from now on. He has a loyal fan base and I can not see him hanging up the gloves and wanting to go out like that. He will continue and Arum will want to suck as much juice out as he can but I don't see Manny being looked at in awe as he once was by many.

I think TS got it twisted, the only reason why "some" longed for Floyd return was because of possible showdown with Pac which would have generated MILLIONS.

But sadly, Floyd was either on vacation or dancing with the stars thus wanting NO part of pac.

Manny however, what's next? Nobody really cares.

Is there anyone you actually want to see Manny fight again? What's out there for him? Simple answer, nothing.

He was beaten by Bradley, what would a rematch prove? Even if Manny was robbed.

A rematch with Marquez? We've seen it four times already, no thanks?

Or a fight with the great one? We all know Floyd would destroy him, real boxing fans have known this for years, only deluded pacquiao fans thought different and even they are accepting it now.

All in all, Manny please retire you've had your time. Boxing doesn't need you.
In your opinion I guess but me personally, I wouldn't miss Floyd should he retire for good. He could have done much more with his talent and career but will forever be remembered as the guy who went to jail, beat women, and some of his biggest wins will be tainted with questions pointing to him waiting until weaknesses were evident in his opposition before he fought them.

I would say that I think Floyd is the better boxer but Pac's fights brought me more enjoyment and excitement over the years.

Once again, this is just my opinion.
