Comments Thread For: BJ Flores Aiming For Lebedev or Huck/Afolabi 3 Winner

Cruiserweight contender BJ Flores was in Bethlehem, Pa., to call the NBC broadcast of the rematch between Tomasz Adamek and Steve Cunningham. But while he’d been hinting at an eventual move to heavyweight in the future, the 33-year-old with a record of 28 wins, 1 loss, 1 draw and 18 knockouts told BoxingScene.com that he first wanted to finish some business in his current division.

It'd be nice to see BJ get a chance on the world level. Obviously to see how he fairs with the elite of the world, but also to shut him up.

All 3 beat him & I'd take Lebedev and Afolabi to stop him.

He is a natural 220lb HW that got outboxed by Danny Green and was also weary of Green's SMW power. BJ doesn't belong anywhere near world class as he proved in that fight and has done nothing since to earn another chance. He's also a terrible commentator due to his bias, can't stand the guy.
