Those fights are tougher than Guerrero who was just at LW. Those are bigger stringer guys and a significantly bigger challenge.



Because he's a smaller fighter than Floyd is Floyd has fought at JMW 3 times. both Bradley and Guerrero were moving up to WW. This argument is just plain ******ed.

I agree. It's not a fight that will do anything for him right now, other than being a solid win over a top ranked WW.

But I mean how in the world can people say it's a crappy fight, than list the likes of Lara, Kirkland, Molina, Bradley, as the fights they want to see. I mean c'mon.

oh wait he's actually fought at JMW twice and has gotten titles there too. He's been fighting at WW how many years? 7 or 8? Guerrero just went up from LW no matter how you try spin this no ones going to give him credit because we're not blind to his cherry picking.

Marquez is going up from LW and JWW where he only fought one complete fight before. Which means he and Guerrero would be at an even playing field.

I wouldn't mind Bradley, since Tim is still clearly one of the best fighters around 140-147, but I'd prefer Guerrero. I'd take fighting someone coming off 2 wins over Top 10 WW's over someone coming off what should have been a clear loss.

Lara, Kirkland, Angulo, Molina, those are idiotic options while criticizing Guerrero as an opponent. Canelo, I'd like to see this and I'm sure we will, but let the kid beat someone legit first please. Why can't he fight Austin Trout???

Sergio is steady fighting the Martin Murray's of the world for some reason, and I doubt he makes 154 ever again, and I doubt Floyd tries 160. That's a pipe dream, but if it happened it'd be an amazing bonus. It won't though.

Martinez at 154...he hasn't been there in 4 years/8 fights, I have serious doubts Martinez can even make 154 fine anymore. It's lie saying in 2009 Floyd could have made 140 still, which he obviously couldn't.

I doubt Floyd fights at 160, he's too small for there, he can't even make 154 lbs.

Yeah I feel you.... The 160 thing is just for some history making type ****.... I don't expect that move or hold it against him though because like you said Floyd is too small...

If he fights Canelo at 54 I would like to see him fight Martinez there also before he hangs em up just because Martinez has called for it for so long...It wont do anything for me personally just for principle
