I think it's certainly better than Floyd-Canelo right now. I don't want that until Canelo beats at least one of the fighters mentioned in the original post.

Guerrero is a solid fight right now, a win over a top ranked WW. Solid, not a huge or big win, but solid.
Well, the Ghost beat Ayudin & beat the dogdookie out of Berto to earn his shot. I think the fight will actually be very competitive. The Ghost has proven himself a real welterweight. He's strong, young, fairly fast & has shown he can fight from range & in close. I'm not worrying bout if it's ppv or not cause I don't pay for them anyway.

      See any pattern ?
Andre Ward has said he can't even make 160 anymore I believe, so anyone who says that would be clearly mistaken. If Floyd fought Canelo over Sergio then it wouldn't be unreasonable to mention Martinez as an opponent since Canelo is as big as him on fight night and Sergio has offered a catch weight below 154. Sergio, unlike Ward, has also fought at 154, which is a weight Floyd has won belts at. Obviously, Floyd is no natural JMW, but it is still a much plausible fight then Ward-Mayweather.

I have no problem with Floyd-Guerrero, it's not a legacy or huge fight or anything, but it's a solid fight against a top fighter at his weight.

If Canelo fights and beats Trout, than hell yeah bring on Floyd-Canelo.

Canelo vs Mayweather is a way better fight the Mayweather fighting the Ghost. It's a better fight and a bigger event.

Mayweather may end up fighting Canelo in September anyway though. It looks like that is what is being set up.

I don't know why he doesn't ask for a catchweight from Canelo (weighed 167 on fight night against Lopez) as that is what he has asked from Martinez in the past (Martinez has offered it as well) even though Martinez is 15 years older than Canelo. Maybe he will, but I've never seen it discussed before.

He might be better it just really hasn't been proven against quality competition. Canelo is a big unknown under real pressure he could turn into a diamond or he could totally fall apart.

When you watch him he looks to have the tools, which is what you want to see you just don't know what is under that facade.

Guerrero is more of a known quantity, he actually is pretty good at a number of things but really he isn't great at anything so people don't think he is up to the task.

It is like Let's Make a Deal, you get a decent prize like a washer and dryer or something like that you don't really need but isn't worthless either and they offer you a mystery box which is a pretty large risk to take but it could be worth it. Guerrero is a washer and dryer people don't think that is good enough so they would rather go with the mystery box Canelo.

I wasn't sold on Trout before and wasn't really a fan. After he put it on Cotto though, I'm sold. I'm riding with my Four Corners fighter in Trout. Canelo-Trout needs to happen.

I'd settle for Canelo even fighting Kirkland or Angulo as well though. I mean at least fight someone legit on May 4th Canelo.

And whats even crazier is when ginger goes down in weight to cherrypick, he doesn't even cherrypick the good 1's.
