I was pleasantly surprised to find something that I agree with so thoroughly from you.

Beating the crap out of a 140 at 154 really doesn't prove you're a good fighter.

Now I'm not saying the Ghost is great, but he did outfight, outmuscle, & straight up beat down Berto. Most of his career he's fought at range but showed incredible inside game against a welterweight that began at 160. Far more impressive than a 154 fighter smashing a 140lb fighter if you ask me.

Guerrero is a better fight because he beat a hypejob freaking Berto. What a joke. These people are no longer using their eyes and common sense when watching boxing. They're deep into this ****** technicality no sane human being would care about. You people need to leave the sport alone.

Can you explain your view, or are you just getting emotional on us?

We agree at least half the time, with some very big exceptions, no need to rehash.

We're almost on the same page here. While Guerrero is far more proven and better p4p, fights aren't fought p4p. And h2h I think Canelo is more of a threat than Guerrero, as he should be vs a guy that started at 126. As impressive as Guerrero was against Berto, IMO he underwhelmed against Aydin, who is fringe and very small at welter. I think Canelo runs through Rob and his opponents h2h, but I'd rather not have him rewarded for such craven matchmaking.

Didn't you see Aydin rocking Guerrero several times and nearly dropping him? You probably noticed he wasn't able to bully Aydin like he did Berto. Now imagine Floyd is the one in there instead of Aydin.

Berto is black. so he must have been a great opponent.

the canelo hype in this thread is hilarious. beating down junior welters, welters, and washed up fighters makes him "Great" and "Deserving" of a floyd fight. ginger don't deserve shit, his ability to sell tickets is the ONLY reason he is in the floyd sweepstakes, it sure as hell aint his resume

Alvarez's only chance against Mayweather, literally his only chance, is that Mayweather is old and Alvarez can stop him with a good shot. That may be more of a chance than Guerrero, but not by much. At least Guerrero can go into this fight with more than one plan to try out and for Mayweather to deal with.

I'd rather see Guerrero, the better and more versatile fighter, who has won on a high level for years and earned the shot, get a Mayweather fight.

It's embarrassing to hear people say that Alvarez has more skill than Guerrero. If he does, he has sure as hell never shown it.

If Canelo and PBF does happen instead of Guerrero..I would love to see how people will say that Canelo was to young..people need to realize that Canelo has not fought anyone as good as PBF. Anyone can look good againts a tomatoe can. Canelo wont know what to do when he cant land flush and keeps getting countered..PBF might even straight knock him out, Canelo dont have any type of head movement..or foot work.
