I think if Floyd offered him the fight he would take it. Floyd has shown the reluctance not Sergio. Sergio has even offered a catchweight and Floyd has said it is possible at a catchweight, but then suggested that Martinez fight Dirrell first.

Martinez now says he is not going to go out of his way to try and fight Floyd and I don't blame him. If Floyd wants him then he will offer him the fight. After Canelo which fight will be as marketable for Floyd? Floyd may just end up fighting Martinez within the next few years since it could be very successful if marketed aggressively.

It could be NOBODY answer my question... Do you wanna See Chad Dawson vs Sergio?? Why I ask that is because Chad Dawson is 175 Sergio is 160 2 weight class difference. Mayweather fights at 147 normally, and 160 for Sergio a 13 pound difference.

Now if you wanna say well "They can catch weight" How come Sergio NEVER EVER made that offer to Andre Ward for them to meet at 164?? Is Sergio scared of Ward. And is closer for Sergio, and Andre to both give up 4 pounds? Or for Mayweather to gain 7 pounds and Sergio to lose 6?

Even though I don't like the match up. This fight makes sense for Floyd. Why fight Canelo now when he can fight him in September? That way he fights both of them. Some people want to see him fight Guerrero and believe he is more accomplished. Some people want to see him fight Canelo because he is more dangerous. Two birds with one stone. Fighting Guerrero first allows Canelo to gain some merit and experience fighting on the undercard. That way when the fight comes around, no one can have any argument towards Canelo being picked as an opponent.

From a fan perspective, I'd like to see the Canelo fight right away. He is a much bigger threat than Guerrero and his style matches up favorably to Floyd's. I find that fight a hard one to predict.
