Why doesn't Winky have any power?

No one really said it as pretty as the guy who got it right said it.
The arm punches thing is true though. A perfect example is when he throws a straight left.Comment

he frustrates fighters because he's patient for one and two he is hard to hit clean with his turtle d. also he doesn't exchange, he waits til his opponent stops throwing, then he pops them with that jab when they try to pull back straight. or if they roll to the side he will catch them with that left if they roll right, or hit them with a short right hook if they roll left. he has it down to a science, he's just boring to watch the majority of the time.(at least for the general population)...Comment

Ok, first of all Winky has the potential to be the boxer-puncher type. I have been following Winky Wright for years, and in the amateurs He was a great puncher, with perfect technique. His left-hook used to be out of this world. The hook Reminded me alot of Mr. Frazier's.
Now, take a look at a classic Winky Wright fight. He does not sit on his punches, and rarely throws his short, snappy hooks that He used against Soliman.
Power is the use of pulling the trigger through the midsections entire group of muscle, getting the legs quickly into the shot, and a powerful forearm twist. Winky has great balance but when He throws his punches he does not lean into his punches, and has absolutely no torque. On top of that (like you guys said), He does not commit and would rather box and circle then go in for the kill.
That is why you will never see a Winky Wright knockout.Comment
