Do you think that Jones beats Toney 10 out of 10? I think it would be more of a 6 to 4 or even a 5 to 5. I think that Toney was not prepared for Jones that night. He probably underestimated Jones.

Exciter I respect your opinion but the fight wasnt even close. Jones wins at the very least 9 out of 10. It wasnt a situation like Castillo-PBF 1 where adjustments were made. It was a total outclassing, virtuoso performance with styilistic limitations imposed on Toney!

I agree that the fight was one sided. In fact, I scored it 118-109 for Jones, but I think that Toney was not there that night for whatever reason. All in all, I don't think Jones is 8 rounds better than Toney.

EXCITER.. I was in Vegas for the Jones-Toney fight and before the fight I was asked what was going to happen... I told them that they were both great fighters but the main thing is that all the things that made James Toney great would never come into play against a Roy Jones... and the fight went just like I thought it would. Roy's style is kryptonite to James. 10 of 10.

You may be right, but I still think that Toney could have done better in that fight. Perhaps lose a closer decision like Hopkins did against Jones. Maybe 8 rounds to 4

I scored that fight, 10 rounds to 2 for Jones. Do you think that Jones is 8 rounds better than Toney? Do you think Toney is so far behind? I am an objective fan, by the way, and I admire the abilities of both boxers. However, I think that Toney's skills are superior to Jones', although Jones in his prime was close to unbelievable. Just one quick look at his Greatest Knockouts dvd and you realize that Jones was something else.
