The logic of Canelo Alvarez haters

Alvarez comes into his fights at about the same weight as Sergio Martinez and for the most part has fought old, blown-up WWs. His youth and size give him a great advantage. I realize he is only 22, but he has yet to fight a top 10 JMW and maybe not even one in the top 15. Broner is also young and comes in with a weight advantage in most of his fights, but at least he has fought top guys in the division he is campaigning at.

How has he earned a fight with Floyd? Let him fight someone like Trout, Lara, Molina, Kirkland, or Martirosyan first. Angulo at this point may also be a step up.

People bash Guerrero but at least he fought 147 lbs Fighters to earn his title shot against Mayweather...he jumped up to 147 at beat the WBC #1 Contender in Aydin

While Canelo on the other hand who is a damn Welterweight Himself...only moved up because Sergio Martinez WBC Belt became available and Oscar and the WBC seen a great opportunity to let Canelo "Make History" by becoming "The Youngest Champion Ever" and they allowed to fight a BUM to win that title, he moved up to 154 and just leap over all of the other fighters who been at 154 for years and fighting their A$$ OFF to get a tittle shots but this dude can just move up to 154 and fight for the title without earning it and he wasn't doing much or fighting anybody at Welterweight either to be honest he was being protect their as well

Canelo haven't earned ANYTHING IN THE SPORT OF BOXING SO FAR...everything has been HANDED TO HIM thanks to good promotion from GBP and Oscar...clearly that have done a great job building up the hype because you have people wanting to see Canelo fight Mayweather OFF OF HYPE, it is certainly not because Canelo is so impressive in the ring, most not even giving Canelo a chance against Mayweather other then Canelo Fans and people who desperately want to see Mayweather lose especially now since Manny got knocked the fuk out

Why do they hate on Canelo tho? He wants it(and who don't?) but its not up to him if the fight gets made, its up to May. Hate on Mayweather for taking the fight not Canelo.

the people who criticize his record aren't "haters". They are right, his comp at 154 is not great. the floyd fight criticism, like bushbaby, is understandable because if Canelo couldn't help sell ppv's and fill arenas, he wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell of getting a floyd fight.

Well he is young so now he grew into a true Light Middleweight but since he haven't fought any good Light Middleweights since moving up, we don't even know how good of a Light Middleweight he is...but Canelo moved up to 154 because it was a title available for him to win after Sergio moved up to 160 and gave up his 154 WBC (THAT HE NEVER LOST) that is why he moved up so he can make "HISTORY" and because the "YOUNGEST CHAMPION EVER" because he damn sure wasn't going to do it at 147 against Mayweather or Pacquiao so they moved him up to 154 to let him get that tittle...it wasn't because he out grew the welterweight Division

Wanting to fight Mayweather is nothing more than a cash grab for everyone involved. Alvarez should have to earn that payday, it's utter bullsh** if he gets that fight now, and sends the wrong message about boxing as a sport.

he hasnt fought anybody! his "reign" at 154 has been vs '47lbers and one '40lber, and he DOESNT deserve a fight vs FMJ cause he hasnt earned it.

The kid has talent, its just too bad his handlers dont put him in vs legit cats to prove it. either that or he knows he cant hang with the top dogs. yeah he was supposed to fight pwill, ortiz etc etc, but he didnt and he didnt even fight someone of note after those fights fell through...........so far his career is pretty shameful.
