Martinez is too big and too good for Floyd to beat him at a weight he's comfortable at. There are weight classes for a reason. As long as he's not weight-drained, Martinez wins.

Floyd has multiple lines of defense and doesn't need to constantly move. Martinez doesn't.

He's the bigger man and will be the aggressor. He'd be in and out and very good at keeping floyd at the end of his punches. FLoyd doesn't beat sergio with single pot shotting, he just doesn't. It's that simple.

Do you even watch Sergio? You need legs for that kind of ambush style. About 2 weeks ago we saw an in and out fighter get his @$$ knocked unconscious by a right hand happy counterpuncher.

Aggressively using an in and out style requires legs as manny has shown us. Look at how manny's effectiveness was limited against Bradley when his legs weren't 100.

Sergio was brilliant at controlling range against Barker and Macklin. That's why Barker was able to get close enough in the pocket to get off and make it hard for Martinez to counter. Macklin kept having the range to land a straight to the body.

This simplicity you condescendingly try to preach of eludes you.

Do people not get tired of talking about this unrealistic match up? Floyd did not even fight pac for double the money he would have gotten if he fights martinez. what makes anyone think he'd fight sergio martinez?

And Martinez would beat the crap out of floyd.
