Yes, unless he's fighting one of my favourite boxers.
But it's important to show your neutrality otherwise your opinions become invalidated. Earl actually posted on my wall one time asking whether or not I liked any British boxers because I was criticizing Fury...
I'm the biggest advocate of our domestic scene on here but do not allow myself to be blinded. It doesn't matter whether some always support their home fighter or not, it's whether they can give an honest opinion on them or others without allowing bias.Comment

I always support Pac, but I also know marquez is his Daddy and Mayweather can beat him.. I wanted him to win his fights though. I also support donaire and viloria.
I could care less about Farenas, I was nuthugging gamboa that time and I ended up disappointed.Last edited by dibzvincent143; 12-18-2012, 10:55 AM.Comment

15 No to 2 Yes so far... and yet from what I've seen around half of the posters here only support their 'own kind'. Stop kidding yourselves.
I can proudly say that national boundaries do not affect me.
My criteria only consists of universal traits such as skill, heart and personality to an extent.
That said, there's nothing wrong in supporting someone who represents your nation. Just don't be irrational about it.Last edited by GG Magic; 12-18-2012, 10:55 AM.Comment

I always support the British guys. That doesn't mean that I don't recognise their limitations or their flaws. It's not a case of nationalism it's simply the fact that if the fighters do well it raises the profile of the sport in this country.
This leads to more air time over here and potential big fights that I actually have a chance of going to. Also inspires the next generation to get into boxing and become future stars.Comment
