I don't see the hype behind Garcia. He knocked out Khan, wow so did Prescott. And Peterson looked like he was close to stopping Khan too. Garcia's best wins besides Khan are against Morales and Holt, who h barely beat by SD. If Morales and Khan were able to bust Danny's face up like that imagine what Lucas does to him.
Matthysse fights with Judah, Alexander, Soto, and Ajose make Matthysse's resume better than Garcia's IMO. Those two losses are bull**** and anyone who watched those fights knows it.

Garcia is only champ by default anyways and people forget that. Lucas was supposed to fight Morales for the vacant WBC strap and pulled out because of the flu or something. Cano replaced last minute and Morales won the belt. Timing made Garcia champ not his skills.

And Rios beat a guy who barely beat Prescott soooooo.....

the garcia-rios fight has almost zero chance of happening. if it does push through (not likely), i feel garcia has the upper hand in power and might just knock out rios for the first time in his career. but who knows? we'll never see it happen. it's all just guessing at this point

Rios will get destroyed. He is a pressure fighter and can not compete with boxers. Abril schooled him and he lacked the power that Garcia has. Garcia is a better boxer and packs some serious power.

Bob Arum make this fight. No one wants to see a lopsided Pacquiao or Marquez win over Rios!

Dude you seriously under estimate Rios. Would be a good scrap against Garcia and more of a 50/50 fight in my opinion. You don't have to be the most technical boxer in the world to be competitive specially against someone like Garcia. I would love to see this fight

Rios would break Danny down. Would be fun to watch, but Danny beating grandpa Morales, and a fight with Amir that was stopped when it shouldnt have been....why so many of you aer high on Danny is beyond me.

Why the hell is Garcia fighting ZAB JUDAH????!!!!!!!!!! He should b fighting Matthysse as I think matthysse is the 1# contender for he's title.. What is he trying to prove by beating a guy who's being done for a long time??? Man Danny got to step he's damn game up. Morales and now Judah?? Com on man?!! Morales ill give him a pass cuz of the rematch clause but Judah shouldn't b getting no more big fights when there r guy's like matthysse waiting for a title shot and Garcia camp acts like he don't exist?? Matthysse lost to Zab Judah. I would have rather Garcia/Matthysse than Judah/Garcia (whatever order) but technically on paper Judah beat Matthysse. And it is already a known fact that fighters do not fight their mandatory and haven't for a long time due to money obligations between promoters and belt organizations.

But the difference is......Matthysse lost his big or significant fights and Garcia didn't. Robbery or not, he couldn't seal the deal even when he had them guys hurt but Garcia is putting his opponents out. You put Judah down as a good fight for Matthysse but he lost. If Garcia KO's Judah would you consider that a better win for him than Matthysse losing to Judah? Lucas had bad timing regarding Morales. Can't fault Garcia for that. As it stands though. Matthysse doesn't have a better win at 140 than Garcia.
