So basically you're all banking on him to land some wonder left hook? His only punch.

That is all he has, a great left hook shown to only be effective against 5ft3 cavemen.

Rigondeaux will splatter him all over the ring. It will not even be competitive.

Nope, Rigondeaux's posture looks like someone who spent life in the amateurs. Top guys like Donaire create angles to work guys like that and exploit their rigidity. Rigo is unbeatable to guys that play into his game and he can point fight all day in that stance. Donaire won't do it. His movement will frustrate Rigo who will not be able to adapt.
I normally agree with you but I can't believe that goofy last sentence there.

Yeah. lets just forget the perfect right hand that finished Nishioka. Donaire has KO power in both hands. I'm 100% Rigo's chin is china. His legs go jelly everytime he gets hit clean. I honestly think it's because he does not get hit often in sparring or fights that when he gets hit it's like a shock to him and he's not used to it.

Donaire will touch that chin. Both of them are counter punchers. Rigo has better defense but Donaire has insane KO power. In a 12 round fight I got Donaire by KO.

Lets not get ahead Dan - Mathebula actually showed up to fight and he did the opposite of what Rigo does. I don't doubt that Rigo would outbox Donaire for a few rounds but once Donaire lets go of his hands and weather they land or not Rigo well go into defensive mode. That kind of defensive style won't win him rounds and if Rigo does decide to get brave and opens up his offense there's a big chance that Donaire well land a big shot. And lets not forget the most important factor here is that Donaire is huge for that weight class. No one at 122 has the power to gain Donaires respect. As a matter of fact I don't even think Rigo would be able to handle Mares, specially if Mares decides to bring the fight the way he did with Moreno.

This is boxing bro, anything can happen. I'm not saying that is definitely what will happen but IMO Rigondeaux wins this fight in surprisingly one sided fashion.

I think he outboxes a frustrated Donaire who will go all out and be made to pay. As heavy as his left hook is I can not help but feel he is made to make Rigondeaux look brilliant.

He is a pretty good fighter but IMO he is being matched too look like something he isn't. I just can't get behind this guy, he is like Broner for me; I can not give the credit he probably does deserve until I see him fight someone his own size or a prodigy.

It just keeps coming down to Donaires opposition for me. I am in no way implying Rigondeaux's at this stage has been better, don't get me wrong.

Nishioka sure he was a damn good fighter in his day and probably was #1 in the division but I just can't help feel even before hand he was nearing 40, visibly on the slide and had been inactive for a year.
I do give him credit for that win, its one of the few I do but I am sure we can all agree, Nishioka's best days was behind him.

I see Rigondeaux winning the fight. Donaire has a great left hook but Rigondeaux is not easy to hit and will be wary of that shot. Donaire is a very good fighter but my money is on Rigondeaux.

Donaire would Kill Rigo in a similar fashion as he did Arce, but get no credit for it, because everyone knows Rigos chin was made in China just hasn't fought anyone that can expose it Marroquin almost did for minute there but Rigo made it out of trouble.

Marroquinn is huge at the weight and outweighed Rigo by a lot (5ft8 and I believe he rehydrated to 138), he also has a very potent left hook and Rigo took it fine IMO
Did it stun him? Yes it did.

I felt he recovered very well though.

I don't have any concerns about his chin and even if it is pretty bad, he has outstanding defense.
