Marquez answered any questions when he knocked Pacquiao out. Would there still be questions to answer if Pacquiao knocked out Marquez? i somehow doubt it, a fifth fight is pointless. Marquez already crushed Pacquiao but the Pacquiao fanatics just cant accept it, oh well, KO rd 6 is what the records will read forever so get used to it.

Firstly May v PAC was most likely never gonna happen regardless of who Pac fought and secondly if it does ever happen it will still be huge.

Lewis getting koed didn't stop Lewis Tyson being huge.

PAC just needs a good win over someone decent and the hype is back on.

Seriously who here isn't watching if they fight in September next year?

Dana is right to say this was about money. But everyone is leaving out an important fact. Marquez was never Bob Arum's and Team Pacs first choice. They were trying to rematch Miguel Cotto for the same type of money. The only reason the fight didnt happen was because Cotto refused to fight Pac at a catchweight again. He even said it, from the horse's mouth. Arum is even on record saying Cotto was scared to take another beating from Manny. If Cotto had agreed to that catchweight,, this never would have happened to Pac. He would have beat up Cotto again. And we all know there was NO money to be made with a Bradley rematch. The only choice Pac had was to fight Marquez. Besides, Pac needed a money fight to show that he could draw as much as Floyd, so lets be real. Pac wanted that money too.

Bob Arum, you ***ed this up.. Big time!
I thought "boxing is a business"? why wouldn't a money making promoter not put on the best money making fight possible?

arum puts pac in with fighters he KNOWS pac won't lose to for the most part

I agree with everything White said here. Manny wanted this fight though. I blame Roach more than Arum.

I think he means "quick money" . He lost a lot more than he could have made last weekend.

I'm no fan of Arum, but if promoting is about making money, he's actually the SMARTEST promoter in the history of the world...sadly, what does that say about our sport?
