  • because Marquez was too damn small for him
don't understand Floydfags fighting to get Floyd credited for that crap
Floyd's an ATG with legit triumphs for his fans to brag about
why bother trying to up the Marquez farce?
that fight was worthless in 09 and it still is
Marquez beating Pac doesn't make Floyd look any better

Are you trying to make a comparison to Mayweather-Marquez? Because if you are then imagine that Floyd also lost a disputed decision to Froch and then KO'ed him. Then what? Yeah, silence.

        • Manny and Juan have both fought at 140 plus on fight night since they were at 130...so what does Ward have to do with this??? Floyd has never entered the ring as a super middleweight

          • Marques isn't a legitimate welterweight. Neither is Manny Pacquiao but Manny Pacquiao has shown he can hang in the division with the best of them. Therefore Pacquiao belongs in the division.

The reason Pacquiao and Marquez have had the great fights they've had is because they are a lot closer to each others size and Marquez has a bad style for him.

When it comes to who is bigger it goes:

Mayweather and then Pacquiao and then Marquez.
Pacquiao is right in the middle of the two so he can compete up and down, not having a problem.

Marquez isn't anywhere near Mayweather, in size however. Which is why he doesn't really stand a chance.

By your logic both Floyd and Manny have fought middleweights and even higher as they fought guys who came in at 165+ .... example Ortiz, Clottey, Margarito and so on.

So since Floyd has already fought super middleweights on fight night then no excuse for Floyd fighting Ward. OK, we will also make it a CW. Ward will agree to come down 3lbs but then pay Floyd $600, 000 for going over 2lbs

kind of does really considering Marquez gave up more at the scales fighting Pacquiao then when he fought Floyd and he hasn't fought anybody at 147 other then Manny and Floyd.

so its either a huge win for Floyd or Pacquiao is one of the most overrated boxers of all time

So Floyd who hardly gains weight on fight nights has to move up three divisions in order for it to be comparable? That makes no sense since Floyd had never come close to fighting over even 154
