Broner won't be the A-side if the fight isn't in the US. Popularity is measured in US terms on here, which is weird considering boxing is a global sport.

Broner has some questionable wins, so the article stating Broner looks unstoppable is a bit misleading.

I like the way Broner is looking to fight the best though. I hope this isn't a Mayweather stunt, and give Burns a ****** deal in the negotiations. They are both champions, it's not as if either is the Lineal champ.

As for Burns ducking, maybe idk. Burns seriously lacks power. Weird match up actually, because Burns looks not too great but in the ring hes pretty decent. I hope this fight happens. I'm in Scotland but not the greatest fan of Burns lol.

LOL Broner would murder him anyway. Let him continue to fight bums in his hometown and make money.

I like Burns but think Broner is a special kind of fighter.

I would love this fight to happen in Hampden Park in front of 40,000 screaming Sweaties. That would be a night for Broner to remember more than a half empty arena in Vegas.

If I was Burns manager I'd tell him to hold off for a few fights too.

I think that is a horrible decision. If he continues to fight guys not on Broner's level, then he doesn't improve and his already not so great chances are far worse. He will still be marketable after he gets trounced by Broner, so why not make the fight and roll the dice? Win-win even if he loses.

Burns, a mediocre fighter who knows his limitations as a boxer / fighter. Just let him make a living in his hometown much like Arthur Abraham. Two fighters who can't compete against the best. But still able to make a living off a bogus title.

ricky burns you duck broner when you was at 130 and now your ducking him at 135 your idiot trainer billy nelson thinks you would beat broner but quite clearly you and your trainer and manager know you have no chance in hell!! keep defending your crappy paper title in haggis grumpy land which is scotland

broner would destroy burns in under 9 rounds far too powerful

Burns has a better resume than Broner.

                    Burns isn't ducking anyone.

His management who've poorly navigated his career thus far are the ones to blame for delaying this fight. You can't just point the finger at Warren either, Morrison is involved with Burns too.

Burns is stick in a situation where the train is leaving the platform but he's just entered the station and he's nowhere near ready. He needs a fight or two to ready himself before he faces Broner, he just hasn't that sort of run yet and that's his management's fault.

I can see him fighting in Feb and then again in May, the Broner fight will probably happen in the fall of '13.

I think the sooner Burns takes the fight, the better chance he would have.

I couldn't count Burns out totally, hes proved me wrong on a few occasions. Interesting fight as Burns likes to box at range where he is very good & I'm not sure about how good Broner is from the outside. Burns also has a very good inside game, he is underrated and a pretty complete fighter in my book.

This fight needs too happen in 2013.
