Vasquez or Gamboa at 135. Or move up to 140.

Abril may be difficult to KO or TKO, so I'm not expecting much from that fight other than Broner beating him convincingly. I doubt he can make 130 any more. I think he should continue fighting at 130 and fight as many champions or top notch fighters there before moving up to 140. No need to rush it. He will get to the better fights before you know it.

Burns is having a stay busy fight in January so there's no need.

The winner of Broner-Abril might aswell face Burns right away.

He beats Abril by TKO/Ref Stoppage.

vs. Donaire: Broner easy. Donaire fights smaller guys who he can rocked with the left hook. He fights Broner a guy who's bigger, stronger, just as fast and packs just as much power. He'll negate that left hook and eat Nonito alive.

vs. Gamboa: Interesting matchup as Gamboa has speed and power on his side. But I still think Broner takes him. Gamboa has a suspect chin and Broner will check it. And Broner is a helluva finisher. Broner via KO.

vs. JMM: Marquez a few years ago I'd pick him EASY. Right now, Marquez has slowed down considerably so I have Broner via decision. He won't knock him out as Marquez will still be firing back with counters, but he can play it safe and coast to a decision. Marquez will get knocked down once or twice trying to deal with the speed. Broner UD/corner stoppage.

Dangerous fights for Broner are Matthysse, Bradley, Rios, Garcia, and Malignaggi (just seeing if you're paying attention).

But for me, in 2013 I want him to fight at least 3 out of the 4 of Abril, Vasquez, Gamboa and Burns. It would be even better if he can fight all four over the next 12-18 months.

2014 is the year it's time for him to step up. But we have a whole year of fights to be made for next year so who knows who will be on top of the division at that point in time.
Gamoa will be fireworks for sure (if it happens). He has a lot of options and I think his year will be 2014. He will be rightfully on the P4P list by then IMO.

We know JMM wouldn't happen as he's at the end of his carrer and gains nothing fighting Broner.

However I think IF Broner could land it, it would be a great test win lose draw.

Broner could face Donair if he moved up. Gamboa could as well. Bob won't hold him back and if money is to be made, 50 will make it.

He has a lot of options but not too many that I think would give him a test. He's proven himself IMO but now needs to step it up once again.

It's only a matter of time before he hits 140 where a lot of big names come into play (I'm thinking 2014).
