Broner is set or should be set to fight Richar Abril (17-3-1 w/8 KOs) for the WBC Lightweight title on February 16th, 2013.

Will he win bwo KO/TKO? He's on a five fight KO streak as it is. Time for him to step it up! What’s more interesting;

Broner vs Donair at 130 (assuming Broner makes weight)
Broner vs Gamboa at 135 (assuming Broner makes weight)
Broner vs JMM at 140 (never happens but let’s pretend)


Who beats him or gives him one hell of a fight and why?

Out of the 3 you listed I like Gamboa. That fight will be fireworks.

But for me, in 2013 I want him to fight at least 3 out of the 4 of Abril, Vasquez, Gamboa and Burns. It would be even better if he can fight all four over the next 12-18 months.

2014 is the year it's time for him to step up. But we have a whole year of fights to be made for next year so who knows who will be on top of the division at that point in time.

I would like to see him fight gamboa and vasquez before moving up to 140. Gamboa fight would be fireworks. Vasquez fight would be interesting because I think vasquez movement would give broner fits.

Now 140 is a different ball game. A lot of killers in that division.

im not interested in seeing broner fight 130/135 guys.he is clearly to big for those classes even if he can make those weights for a few hours.would much rather see him vs rios
