Anyways, you factor in that donaire fought these four guys in one year and it's a great year. In fact he should be fighter of the year if not for Marquez. So really there isn't a single fighter in the sport who's had a better year. That says something.
    i agree completely

Vazquez: Just got stopped by Arce[don't even mention the cheap little tune-up against the journeyman].

Arce: Looked highly vulnerable against that kid Rojas. Retirement was inevitable.
And yet he's the fighter of the year? So either you're unfairly criticizing Donaire or everyone else in boxing sucks. And its cute ur rocking a Canelo avatar and have the nerve to criticize Donaire when Canelos best win of his career is Ryan Rhodes!

How am I supporting what's wrong in boxing? The two fights I want for Donaire are Rigondeaux and Mares. The latter I don't think can realistically happen though cuz of the ****** TR/GB feud, but I believe the Rigo fight will happen next year (which is why Rigo was supposed to be on the undercard last night, I believe TR was trying to build it up a bit by showcasing Rigo).

These same people want to say the FOTY is Robert Guerrero or Danny Garcia.
It`s funny. Donaire is easily the fighter of the year IMO. how many elite fighters today fight 4 times in a year against good competition? NONE!!!

With all sympathy to Poonsawat, I'm pissed Rigo didn't get to fight him last night. Not only would he have gotten nice exposure, but it would've been great preparation for Donaire. I think Guillermo is terrific, but it's not good to go from what he's accustomed to fighting straight to Nonito. Now I'm hoping Rigo gets at least one quality match-up before taking on Donaire.

Not to mention how ****ed up his hand is.

Donaire getting too much hate at times.

Dude's had a great year and is the only fighter (I might be wrong) that is doing the drug testing thing all year round.

Once he gets Rigondeaux & Mares...what else is there for him?

30 years old, opposition so bad he's never headlined a HBOPPV.

22 years old, looking to make his HBO PPV main event debut against the #1 P4P fighter.

Go on, say how it's unfair and he's just protected and blah blah blah. He'll be fighting a better fighter than Donaire has ever fought and will ever fight. FACT.

Oh so that's what this is about, popularity and PPV's?? smdh, you're pathetic Kev. Really terrible post.

The truth is you're just a huge floyd fan and you know Canelo will be fighting him next so you gotta pretend like Canelo is some great proven fighter and rock his avatar, etc. You're very transparent.

Canelo hasn't proven anything. Donaire has.
