If Margarito could take judah's punch then zab would be in trouble.

      You callin' me a Mexican?

Are you a Puerto Rican? Immigration?

      Taco Doggie anyone?

santos was a super middleweight by fight time or somewhere around there. margarito would dispose of judah late in the fight. too big, too strong, and hes not dumb. just look at my av. hes a beast.

I'm American, and I don't think Margarito is by any means fantastic

I'll say he is the most ignored and avoided fighter at present.
He may bot be the most skilled and awesome fighter out there but he is capable of giving any opponent a real hell inside that ring.

Not when they fought at welterweight. What's the excuse for the welterweigh fight?

Well, there's no excuse for either fight, and there doesn't need to be. The welterweight fight was a NC after 1 round. I guess you didn't know that. Tony didn't lose.

Secondly, in their most recent fight Santos (a Puerto Rican) won a split decision IN Puerto Rico, and was obviously on his way to getting beaten when the fight was stopped, AGAIN, on a cut...caused by a headbutt.

Santos was lucky to escape with a win, even coming in there outweighing Tony by 10 lbs.

My point being is he had an opportunity to fight for a world title and blew it big time. In the second fight, I saw Margarito get wobbled by Santos. I didn't see Margarito cruising to victory. I saw a reluctant Margarito not throwing punches, and scared to take chances. Like I said before, Margarito doesn't fight southpaws too well.

What kind of excuse do you want to see or hear?

There's no excuse. If Margarito didn't beat Santos in that fight that's it, that's a fact and you can't change that. But don't tell me that Margarito won't ever beat Santos if they fought 3 to 5 times. You see, can't pull a fighter down just because of one poor performance. You can't win them all buddy. Ali lost to Sphinx, Barrera lost to Pacquiao, Morales lost to Raheem etc etc it happens to the best of them so I can't see your point.
